Forced us, including my very pregnant wife, to stay in a cramped single room for the first night of our stay with a tiny extra bed squeezed in, cleaned every day with fresh towels, of a basic standard. The staff kindly explained that the repair man comes only once a week, which I did not meet there, and is very kind and helpful. The location is almost central, with a subway station just across the street, giving a taste of being in 'real' Lisbon. The dining experience serves simple options, although not ready at 7:00 AM, which can be inconvenient when in a rush. The hotel offers smoked meats and has a cafe next door. The facilities are adequate, and the hotel is away from the metro, but very close to it.
